Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy direct from your studio?

Unfortunately my studio isn't a shop; studio is just another name for a workshop! If you'd like to buy something specific, please call to arrange an appointment. I am based in the gorgeous town of Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast, or alternatively you can visit me at Paddington markets the first Saturday of the month and every other  second week or Eveleigh Markets the first Sunday of the month. Otherwise you can shop online 24/7!

I have a retail store and want to become a Natalie Kube stockist, how can I get information?

Please visit my 'Wholesale' page and click on the email link. I will contact you with the Wholesale terms and conditions and any other information you require.

Can you make custom pieces?

Yes,  Natalie loves designing pieces to order and would love to hear from you to discuss designing a piece especially for you or a loved one. In saying this Natalie does not copy other jeweller’s designs as this is an unethical practice or jewellery making.

Where do you source your metal and stones from?

Natalie uses Australian owned companies for the supply of metal and stones that she uses, and this includes Conflict free diamonds.

What does Conflict free diamonds mean?

“Conflict free” diamonds have been manufactured from the finest hand-selected natural rough diamond crystals purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict, or blood diamonds – ie:- the diamonds used by Natalie Kube  are NOT mined and sold to fund civil war, terrorism and other criminal activities).

What do the numbers stamped on silver and gold mean?

Jewellery is usually stamped with numbers on it to represent the metal from which it was made.

This usually consists of the main precious metal and the remainder being other alloys that perhaps are added such as copper  that creates a pink tinge when added to gold, the result being Rose Gold.

925  - Sterling Silver -  92.5% silver.

375  - 9 Carat Gold - 37.5% gold.

585  - 14 carat Gold - 58.5% gold. (most popular in Europe)

750 – 18 carat Gold which is 75% gold .

917  - 22 carat Gold which is 91.7% gold. (Quite yellow in colour and often quite soft)

950  - Platinum. 95% Platinum and 5% other alloys (is always white in colour and the most expensive of all metals)

How do I find out mine or my friend’s ring size?

It is important to obtain an accurate ring size. Natalie suggests that you either visit her, or a local jeweller to have your ring size checked before placing your order. This is the only way to accurately measure your finger size.
Some rings with coloured stones set or certain patterns on them may not be able to be re sized and would need to be re made.

For this reason, we request that you have your ring size checked by a local jeweller rather than using a piece of paper or string to measure the ring size. If a piece of paper is used, it does not accurately show how the ring will move over the knuckle and does not take into account different ring widths.

What metals do you work in?

Natalie works primarily with Sterling Silver, Gold and Platinum upon request.
